Science Before There Were Scientists.

In this unit, we discuss science before the Greeks started "true science".  We will cover the "science" of the caveman and early civilizations, which were basically observation skills.  And isn't observation where ALL science starts?  Other topics to be discussed are:

1.  Early measurement systems       
2.  Simple maps showing directions
3.  Simple classification                 
4.  Trading bringing about the start of science
5.  Eclipses, solstices and the Zodiac (The Zodiac is taught as PSEUDOSCIENCE)
6.  Human evolution according to fossil records.
