Introduction~~~~~Ocean Oasis Poster
You will be creating a poster demonstrating the food web that we will see during the IMAX presentation of Ocean Oasis. You will use the pictures provided and the poster must be on the tag board you were given in class. Below are listed some additional requirements.
1. Your poster must include all of the organisms and their names.
2. Your poster must list what level the organism is.
3. Your poster must list the name of that level.
4. Your poster must name the food of the organism.
5. Your poster must include colored arrows from the organism pointing toward the food that the organism eats.
6. Each organism must have its own colored arrow.
7. Your poster must include a title, your full name and your hour.
8. Background information:
a. Producers get their energy directly from the Sun
b. Consumers eat other organisms to get their energy
c. Level 1 consumers eat plants and are called Primary Consumers
d. Level 2 consumers eat Level 1 consumers and are called Secondary Consumers.
e. Barnacles eat Zooplankton, Scorpion Fish eat Hawkfish, Mullets eat Phytoplankton, Fin Whales eat Zooplankton, Photoplankton use sunlight, Terns eat Mullets, Blenny eat Zooplankton, Hawkfish eat Blenny and Barnacles, Zooplankton eat Photoplankton, Grey Sharks eat fish, Moray Eels eat Scorpion Fish, Manta Rays eat both types of plankton.
