Scientific Method Poster

 

            For this project, you will be making a poster that will show the 8 steps of the scientific method.  This poster must be made on the tag board that is given to you.  Because of this, I suggest you design your poster on a separate sheet of paper.  Below are listed some additional requirements.

 

  1. Your poster must contain all 8 steps of the scientific method.
  2. Your poster must contain a definition for each of those steps.
  3. Your poster must contain a graphic to represent all the steps.
  4. Your poster should be pleasing to the eye.
    1. Good use of color

                                                               i.      Enough to attract attention

                                                             ii.      Not too much to be distracting

    1. Appropriate word size

                                                               i.      Title the largest

                                                             ii.      Steps the next largest

                                                            iii.      Definition the smallest

    1. Good use of space

                                                               i.      Words and graphics centered

                                                             ii.      Everything spread out

  1. You must have correct spelling and grammar throughout the poster.
  2. Your poster must be neat. 
    1. Erasures, smears, and similar problems will cost you points.
    2. DO NOT FOLD YOUR POSTER.
  3. SUGGESTION:  Use one method of product generation.  IE. If you are going to

      print pictures from the computer, then make your words on the computer as well. 

      This is not a requirement, but may effect your neatness points.
